Financial Services company has a need for a LINUX ADMINISTRATOR for their midtown office.
4 Month assignment that may become permanent if approved my management.
Hourly Rate of up to $50 per hour.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities REQUIRED:
Strong knowledge of Red Hat / Fedora / Centos Linux Servers
Automation via scripting (Bash Shell, Perl )
Software experience with Apache, Tomcat , Postfix, LDAP, bind
Ability to work well with in a cross-team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Troubleshooting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Nice to have:
High Availability and failover scenarios, load balanced environments
Documentation processes and procedures
Familiarity with databases and web programming languages and automation (HTML / CGI )
Understanding of Inter-OS communication
Understanding of protocol usage, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, DHCP, TFTP
This is a contract role. There are no benefits offered with the role.
